NOW Registering for Fall 2008!!

GymKids preschool is a program for ages 18 months to 5.  The children come to school on either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday from 9 am to 1 pm.  During the day, the children participate in a daily gymnastics class, educational activities for small and large groups, art & crafts, open gym playtime and lots of fun!

In our preschool classroom (3-5 years), we are currently doing “Letter of the Week” curriculum where we are working on the letter names and their sounds, numbers, colors, shapes, and much more.  We are also working on Spanish vocabulary and lots of math concepts, including counting, calendar, sorting and classifying, and basic addition and subtraction.  We also have a small group time each day, where the children will be working closely with a teacher to do a project to show Mom and Dad what they are learning in school. 

In the toddler classroom (18 months to 3 years) they are working on colors, shapes, sizes, counting and sensory experiences.  We are also introducing letters and numbers and beginning listening for the sounds in our language.  The youngest children also take a nap if needed.

Our summer program is one of a kind!  We are one of the only MDO programs that runs year-round and we have gymnastics included as part of the day!!  Parents may choose to enroll in anywhere from 1 to 4 days per week and we meet from 9am to 1pm Monday thru Thursday.

It’s like a traditional preschool program…
